Students invited to submit favorite recipes,
Shadow the Chef
Shepherd's Pie; Tomato, Basil & White Bean Soup; Cucumbers, Rice Wine Vinegar & Dill: Recipes have been trickling into Douglas County School District (DCSD) Nutrition Services from students, or their parents, seeking the opportunity for the one special student to enjoy Shadow the Chef Day with DCSD Executive Chef Jason Morse.
"Shadow the Chef Day was born out of the recognition that we have a HUGE number of students who themselves are in the kitchen preparing food, or want to be, or who just simply enjoy their parents' great, healthful cooking," said Chef Morse.
