Marking their last year and a new era at Chaparral High School, the school's class of 2014 celebrated a new tradition, gathering for the first-ever Senior Sunrise. As it turned out, the sun didn't make an appearance, but the event was certainly a success for both the students and their new principal, Greg Gotchey. Douglas County seniors intern for Governor Hickenlooper
Last week, the Douglas County school board recognized Kristen Autret, senior at Legend High School, and Amy Yoelin, senior at Highlands Ranch High School, in honor of being chosen as Youth Ambassadors for Governor John Hickenlooper's summer internship program. Read more
DCSD's McMonagle recognized as Outstanding Technology Administrator

The recipient of this year's prestigious Colorado Association of Leaders in Educational Technology's (CALET) Outstanding Technology Administrator Award is DCSD's Kim McMonagle, Director of Educational Technology.
