Congrats to Robby's Roadside Market!
About 40 people braved the rain to attend last Thursday's ribbon cutting ceremony at Robby's Roadside Market and extend best wishes to Ronny and Kendra Cumulander and his family. The local produce stand is located at the the corner of East Boundary and Harvest View and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. Robby sells a variety of locally grown produce, including cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, and watermelon.
Chapin Public Safety Forum Planned for July 25
The Chamber is teaming up with the Timberlake Plantation Owners Association to host the Chapin Public Safety Forum on Thursday, July 25 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Crooked Creek Park. The forum will feature a panel discussion with Chapin Police Chief Troy Crump, Lexington County Sheriff James Metts, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott and Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster. Come learn how our law enforcement agencies are working together to prevent crime and keep all Chapinites safe. Admission is free and open to the public!

We will have a training session in late August and duties include serving as a hosts at our member events, mentoring new members to the Chamber and calling on a few members each month to to keep them updated on Chamber activities and programs. Healthy Lawn Landscaping & Lawn Care Products' Ribbon Cutting Aug. 1
Please mark your calendar to join us on Thursday, August 1 for a ribbon cutting ceremony at Healthy Lawn located at 307 Lexington Avenue. HealthSource Patient Appreciation Day this Saturday, July 20
Dr. Ashley Adamson is hosting another Patient Appreciation Day this Saturday from 9 am to noon. All services are just $10, including new patient exams, X-rays, adjustment and treatments. Justin Pepper Foundation's Lake Clean Up this Saturday
Join other Chapin volunteers as they go out to clean up debris along the shores of Lake Murray. They are meeting at 8:30 am at the Night Harbor House (824 Yacht Club Pointe, Chapin SC 29036) and will go out by boat to assigned islands on Lake Murray for trash pick up. Boats will pull out at 8:45 AM sharp, so do not be late or you will literally "miss the boat". Afterwards, volunteers will travel by boat to the Moore Family Lake House (931 Sugar Mill Road, Chapin) for lunch. Participation certificates for volunteer hours will be available at the lunch site. We will return to the original departure site at approximately 1:30 pm. Additional information is available on their website.

Palmetto Health Hosts Women at Heart Screenings
Palmetto Health is hosting a series of free Heart Health Screening for women at Palmetto Health Baptist, 1501 Sumter Street, ground level classrooms D and E, from 7 - 10 am. Dates are July 24, Aug. 7, 28, Sept. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, and 13. Space is limited so call 803.296.CARE (2273) to schedule your appointment. Health screenings include checking for diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI and body fat. Agape' Senior to Honor Veterans with Special Wall
Agape' Senior invites the community to attend a special dinner honoring their residents who are Veterans or spouses of Veterans on Thursday, July 25 at 5:30 pm at their Harbison campus, located at 990 Columbia Avenue in Irmo. Chapin Theatre Company's Next Production Starts Aug. 2
How to Eat Like a Child (And Other Lessons in Not Being a Grown-up) by Delia Ephron is next from Chapin Theatre Company. It will run Aug. 2 at 7 pm, Aug. 3 at 3 and 7 pm and Aug. 4 at 3 pm at the Old Chapin Firehouse, located at 102 Lexington Ave., Chapin, SC 29036.
