"For every positive change you make in your life, something else also changes for the better. "

We've been reminded daily over the past ten years that a visit to the Myrtle Beach Safari will change your life. We've been reminded by people who traveled here from around the world and vacationing families who found us by chance. Most of all, we've been reminded of this life-changing event through the remarkable faces of the 130 animals found throughout the Myrtle Beach Safari. Our Safari is able to capture this sensation while providing an encounter where guests can connect with wildlife in a manner not available at any other facility.

As we've worked on introducing new ways to interact with the world's most beautiful and endangered animals, we've also spent time to improve our overall guest experience through our improved website and user-friendly technology. We love to receive comments from our guests who made a decision to visit the Safari and now benefit from increased awareness and love for our planet's magnificent creatures. Let the rest of the world fade away for a brief moment while holding a Bengal tiger cub. Watch in amazement as your children laugh together listening to an orangutan making hysterical noises in conversation. Stand quietly while a 9,000 pound African elephant gently eats from your hand. Then, let us know if you agree that every positive change you make in your life allows something else to change for the better.

Our  Challenge according to Jim Fowler

American Zoologist Jim Fowler with Myrtle Beach Safari's Moksha Bybee

"The continued existence of wildlife and wilderness is important to the quality of life of humans. Our challenge for the future is that we realize we are very much a part of the earth's ecosystem, and we must learn to respect and live according to the basic biological laws of nature." - Jim Fowler

Jim Fowler is a professional zoologist and was host of the Emmy Award-winning television show Mutual of Omaha's Animal Kingdom. While Jim was serving as host of Wild Kingdom, he received four separate Emmy awards and an endorsement by the National PTA for family viewing. Fowler was the official wildlife correspondent for NBC's The Today Show since 1988 and also regularly seen on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, making 40 appearances in total as he brought various wildlife animals on the show. Jim spends countless hours expanding awareness of the ties between humans and the natural world.
