A Celebration To Preserve A Way of Life...Ours!

The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) is a three-day celebration of wildlife and nature through fine art, conservation education, sporting demonstrations, food, drink and the people who honor them all. The largest event of its kind in the U.S., SEWE makes its home in Charleston, South Carolina and plays host to hundreds of artists and exhibitors, plus experts in wildlife and nature art - all eager to share their art and insights with more than 40,000 attendees.

SEWE's impact on Charleston and the state continues to grow, as does its popularity. Each year, it generates an estimated $50 million; it provides the public with easy and affordable access to wildlife and nature conservation programs; it increases awareness about the need to protect our natural environment; and, it celebrates our collective love for wildlife, nature and our role in enjoying them for generations.

The 2016 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition will be held
February 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2016.

The 2016 Wildlife Exposition hosts multiple events over the three day weekend at the following locations:

  • Mills House Hotel
  • Hibernian Hall

  • Marion Square

Where in the World Is Robert Johnson?

Hot Talk Radio - Safari Interview from South Africa
Hot Talk Radio - Safari Interview from South Africa
Please enjoy this interview with WRNN 99.5 Hot Talk Radio and Robert Johnson of the Rare Species Fund. Robert explains the wildlife conservation efforts underway throughout Africa and speaks about the group of individuals on the safari and their decision to travel with the Rare Species Fund. This amazing group visited T.I.G.E.R.S. Preserve in Myrtle Beach, SC but wanted to learn more and experience these majestic animals in their native setting. Robert led this group to South Africa in November, 2014.

Beginning with 2015's November safari, for every participant in the South African Safari trip, the Rare Species Fund will pay for one full year of education for a South African grade-school child. These children are based in the town of Lillydale, Mpumalanga and attend school through the African Preschool Society. Interested in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Robert and the Rare Species Fund? Call 843.361.4552 for more information.
