Forgeline_s new Hyper Silver powder coat finish option

Our new Hyper Silver powder coat finish is a unique proprietary Forgeline concoction. This is a very smooth high-gloss liquid silver with dark undertones, pronounced shadows, and a deep wet appearance. It's a modern sophisticated twist on basic silver.

Hyper Silver is an optional powder coat upgrade available now on all one piece monoblock wheels, all three piece wheel centers, and three piece inner & outer rim shells.

Forgeline GA3R Wheel Chosen for Michelin Corvette Challenge Spec Racing Series
Michelin Corvette Challenge Spec Racer on Forgeline GA3R Wheels

Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club has announced a new spec racing series, based around the award-winning 7th generation Corvette Stingray, and they have selected the race-proven GA3R, from Forgeline Motorsports, as the official series-spec wheel. The Michelin Corvette Challenge race series will kick off its inaugural season on February 20th, 2016, at the Spring Mountain facility, near Las Vegas, NV.

Composed of identically-prepared, track-ready Corvette Stingray models, the series will feature 15 races over 8 weekends, utilizing multiple configurations of Spring Mountain's 6.1-mile racetrack. With a unique season-long payment plan, competitors will simply arrive and drive for each event and will then take delivery of their own Corvette Stingrays, following the season finale, on December 10th, 2016.

The Ron Fellows Performance Driving School, which is based at Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club, will serve as the technical race partner for the series.

"To be part of this program with Ron Fellows is very much an honor," said Forgeline company president Dave Schardt. "And our GA3R wheel is ideal for this application. It was engineered for competitive road racing. And the GA3R's light weight and high fatigue strength yield the right combination of reliability, safety, and performance, which is critical for a competitive racing series, like this one."

CJ Wilson Selects Forgeline for 2016 Season

CJ Wilson Racing (CJW) has chosen Forgeline wheels to support the team's move to the Grand Sport (GS) class, during the 2016 IMSA racing season.

"We are very excited to be a part of the CJW racing program, and we see this as a long-term relationship that will go beyond the race track. This team has proven that they can win championships, and we're looking forward to contributing to their success," said Forgeline sales manager, Steve Schardt.

CJ Wilson, team owner and two-time All-Star pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, won the Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge 2015 season championship, in the Street Tuner (ST) class. For 2016, the team will field a pair of new GS class Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars. And their new Caymans will be equipped with Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GS1R wheels.

Wilson views this as the next logical step in the growth of his motosport business, saying, "Forgeline, being so technically proficient, is able to customize wheels to our exact specifications. And we will be testing them in the ultimate crucible: on the race track." He went on to explain that "the race shop is planning some exciting GT4 and other Porsche-based road car projects. And with us racing the Clubsport in the Continental Tire Series, it will mean that we can offer a true race-proven CJ Wilson Racing/Forgeline package to our customers."

Team manager Andris Laivins notes that the new Porsche Caymans, outfitted with premium Forgeline wheels, will create the ideal tools to get the job done. "Partnering with Forgeline is a perfect fit for our team for two major reasons. First, they literally designed their wheels for IMSA racing; with a very open lug area for fast pit stops, and an incredible strength-to-weight ratio, there is no better choice for our new GS cars. Second, they provide teams a major competitive advantage by being a U.S. company - their ability to support the product and respond quickly, during the race season, is a big benefit."
