Way back in 1989, the Big Red '69 Camaro became famous for running 203mph in the Unlimited Class of the Silver State Challenge open road race. Since then, the car has become somewhat famous in top speed and open road racing, and it was featured in the 2015 NBCSN documentary series entitled, "BIG RED: The Original Outlaw Racer".
Recently, the creators of Big Red teamed up with SLP, UMI, and Forgeline to create the "Big Red Edition Camaro Z/28", a Big Red Camaro 5th-gen tribute based on Chevy's amazing Z/28. We are very excited to be exhibiting at the 2015 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association) Show, in Las Vegas, NV, during the week of November 3-6. Our booth is #34301 located in the South Hall Upper Level (aka: Performance Annex), where we'll have all of our newest wheel models and finishes on display, including several brand new designs that will make their world debut, at SEMA 2015. And virtually our entire office staff (including Dave, Steve, Mark, Darren, Todd, Sherri, and John) will be answering questions about our products, our rapidly-growing company, and our reseller opportunities.

Despite tricky, rainy conditions, the #6 Stevenson Motorsports' Camaro Z/28.R entry earned a hard-fought second place finish, in the final race of the 2015 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season, at Road Atlanta. With this finish, co-drivers Andrew Davis and Robin Liddell clinched the Driver's Championship with 286 points, along with the Manufacturers' Championship for GM's Chevrolet Camaro. The Davis/Liddell duo has scored four wins this year, including the most recent at Circuit of The Americas.
Competing in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge since 2009, Stevenson Motorsports had been inching closer and closer to winning the Grand Sport (GS) championship.
"It was the longest 45 minutes of my life," stated Davis. "I am very proud of our Stevenson Team and glad we can give Forgeline a GS Championship. Forgeline makes a great wheel, and they are a big part of this championship."
Winning this race was a hometown victory for Andrew Davis, who resides in nearby Bogart, Ga., just west of Atlanta. Davis closed out the season at his home track with scores of family, friends, and hometown supporters on hand.
Throughout the nine races of the 2015 season, the #6 Camaro of Davis and Liddell earned four wins, seven podiums, and never once finished outside of the top five. It was truly a spectacular performance!
We are very proud of the effort displayed by the Stevenson Motorsports team, throughout the 2015 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge season. And we thank them for trusting Forgeline to carry the load!

The Forgeline TA3 wheel is designed to capture the nostalgic snowflake look of iconic pony cars from another era. This wheel was first launched back in 2006. And though it was a popular design, it was available only in limited sizes and was eventually pulled from our lineup. But now, in the spirit of our new Heritage Series, we have re-launched the TA3 in a greater range of sizes!
The TA3 is built with true forged 6061-T6 aluminum centers, aircraft-quality ARP stainless steel fasteners (your choice of exposed or hidden), and heat-treated rim sections. The TA3 is available with a flat lip reverse outer in 18-inch and 19-inch fitments and features a standard powder coated center finish with a polished outer rim. But since each wheel is custom built-to-order, Forgeline can also offer special features like custom offsets and a large choice of finish combinations.

Corey Fergus capped off an exciting season of ups, downs, and overcoming obstacles with a win and a second place finish at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, in his #00 Porsche Cayman on Forgeline GA3R wheels. And in a nail biter that came down to the final laps, he narrowly won the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge TC class driver's season championship!
