Danny Popp Wins OUSCI Again!
 | | Danny Popp Holds the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational Championship Trophy |
A total of 103 vehicles, the largest field ever, competed in the 2014 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational, held for the first time at Las Vegas Motor Speedway over the weekend of November 8-9. After two action-packed days of competition and challenges from past champions and newcomers alike, Danny Popp drove his 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 on a brand new set of Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GS1R wheels to victory and was named the 2014 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational champion!
"It's been incredible to drive on the most historic tracks, during the 2014 season," said Popp, after holding up the huge Invitational trophy. "Extraordinary results are more easily accomplished through the efforts of many, and I surround myself with the best in the business. Forgeline is on top of their game, which helps me stay on top of mine...We will definitely be back next year!"

See Forgeline at the 2014 PRI Show
Forgeline is looking forward to exhibiting at the 2014 Performance and Racing Industry (PRI) trade show on December 11-13, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over 48,000 racing businesspeople will converge on Indianapolis over the course of three days to see the latest advances in racing products, machining equipment, motorsport engineering, and more from 1100 exhibiting companies.
Forgeline will use the PRI show as an opportunity to give an up-close and personal view of our newest products, including a brand new low offset race wheel for IMSA United SportsCar GT and DP cars, our brand new Heritage Series wheels (including the RS3, LS3, and CR3), two new one piece forged monoblock wheels (the AR1 and GA1R Open Lug Cap Edition), and our newest three piece Concave Series wheel (the GT3C).
