In an effort to make it easier to share some of our best media, we've set up a Flickr account. And we've begun organizing our images into relevant collections and sets to make it easier to find a specific image related to a wheel model or vehicle type.

2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona

Park Place Motorsports #73 Porsche on Forgeline GA3R Racing Wheels

Forgeline is excited about the 51st running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona which takes place January 24-27, at Florida's Daytona International Speedway. This grueling test of man and machine is one of our favorite events of the year and is the long-anticipated kickoff to the 2013 Grand-Am Racing season.

Forgeline is proud to have a huge list of highly-competitive teams using our Competition Series wheels. We wish all of these teams the best of luck at Daytona and throughout the 2013 season. And we thank them for making Forgeline their wheel of choice!

The Forgeline support crew will be on site at Daytona International Speedway, beginning Wednesday, January 23, to provide trackside support and wheel repair. If you are lucky enough to watch the race this year, then please join us in rooting for our teams.

 Big Bucks at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale
Roadster Shops C1-RS Corvette on custom one-off Forgeline wheels

Several Forgeline-equipped cars were up for auction at January's Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale event and earned big bucks, bringing in over $1 million combined!

Leading the way was the C1-RS Corvette, built by Roadster Shop, on custom one-off Forgeline center locking wheels. Already an award winner (this vehicle won the 2009 Goodguys Street Machine of the Year title at its public debut), it sold for $396,000.00, including the buyer's commission.

Not far behind was the Dragon Mustang, built by Ringbrothers, on Forgeline ZX3R wheels. This 1970 Ford Mustang won the Mothers Shine award at SEMA in 2010 and scored big at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, selling for $346,500.00, including buyer's commission.

Next up was the original 1965 Producer Mustang, built by Ringbrothers, on Forgeline center locking RB3C Concave wheels. A winner of multiple awards, including the Ford Best in Show award at SEMA 2011 and the 2012 Goodguys Street Machine of the Year title, it went for $286,000.00, including buyer's commission.

And finally, the little brother to the original Producer Mustang, the 2007 Shelby Mustang known as Producer II (built by Ringbrothers to look like the original 1965 Producer), sold for $77,000.00, including buyer's commission.

Congratulations to Roadster Shop, Ringbrothers, the buyers, sellers, and everyone else who scored big at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. And thanks for making Forgeline your choice of premium custom wheel!

New Finish Option: Satin Gunmetal

Forgeline's new Satin Gunmetal powder coat finish

All of us at Forgeline are very proud of our in-house finishing and powder coating facility. Having this capability under our own roof enables us to deliver a level of quality and service that would not otherwise be possible, if we were forced to farm this out to an external vendor. It also allows us to experiment with new ideas and create cool new finish options to meet the needs and wants of our customers. The latest example is our newest finish: Satin Gunmetal.

Our Satin Gunmetal powder coat finish is a low gloss version of our popular Gunmetal. It uses the same Gunmetal base coat, but with only a 50% gloss level to produce less shine on the surface. The result is a performance-oriented look that is still much easier to maintain than a comparable matte finish.

Satin Gunmetal is a standard powder coat option available on all entire one piece monoblock wheels, all three piece wheel centers, and three piece inner & outer rim shells.
