Big Bucks at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale
Several Forgeline-equipped cars were up for auction at January's Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale event and earned big bucks, bringing in over $1 million combined! Leading the way was the C1-RS Corvette, built by Roadster Shop, on custom one-off Forgeline center locking wheels. Already an award winner (this vehicle won the 2009 Goodguys Street Machine of the Year title at its public debut), it sold for $396,000.00, including the buyer's commission. Not far behind was the Dragon Mustang, built by Ringbrothers, on Forgeline ZX3R wheels. This 1970 Ford Mustang won the Mothers Shine award at SEMA in 2010 and scored big at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, selling for $346,500.00, including buyer's commission. Next up was the original 1965 Producer Mustang, built by Ringbrothers, on Forgeline center locking RB3C Concave wheels. A winner of multiple awards, including the Ford Best in Show award at SEMA 2011 and the 2012 Goodguys Street Machine of the Year title, it went for $286,000.00, including buyer's commission. And finally, the little brother to the original Producer Mustang, the 2007 Shelby Mustang known as Producer II (built by Ringbrothers to look like the original 1965 Producer), sold for $77,000.00, including buyer's commission. Congratulations to Roadster Shop, Ringbrothers, the buyers, sellers, and everyone else who scored big at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. And thanks for making Forgeline your choice of premium custom wheel! |
