Please Support The Detroit Area Diaper Bank
The GPPL is proud to sponsor a Diaper Drive at all three libraries to help The Detroit Area Diaper Bank with their "250,000 by Thanksgiving Diaper Drive". By Thanksgiving 2013, the Diaper Bank's goal is to collect 250,000 diapers for individuals and families in need. The Detroit Area Diaper Bank exists to address the unmet need for diapers since WIC, Food Stamps and Medicare don't pay for or provide them. It's a constant need that affects many people and families who are struggling - so we need your help!
Diaper Drive
Drop off Diapers at ANY GP Library
The Diaper Bank accepts donations of new, opened and partial packages. EVERY DIAPER makes a difference!

ALL SIZES, ALL BRANDS of diapers and pull-ups for babies, toddlers, older children and incontinence supplies for seniors needed and welcome!

Patrons who donate diapers will receive a Free Video Buck as our way of saying Thank You!

Diapers are a huge hole in the "safety net" and an ongoing and TOP need for nonprofits and state agencies working with families in crisis.

The Detroit Area Diaper Bank partners with family services agencies, homeless shelters, crisis nurseries, domestic abuse shelters, food pantries, senior agencies, faith-based outreach organizations, disability networks and state human services agencies and has become their diaper resource, increasing their capacity to more fully support our Southeast Michigan neighbors in need.
