The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP) is announces a webinar on the Organic INTEGRITY Database. We are also pleased to highlight recent market trends for organic dairy products and to announce a Registration Review conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Webinar on Organic INTEGRITY Database
On Wednesday October 26, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (ET), the NOP will host an interactive webinar updating the organic community about the development of the Organic INTEGRITY Database.
The webinar will feature demos of updates to the public facing search and reporting capabilities. We will also review tips on using data from the system and, based on stakeholder feedback, capabilities scheduled for release this year.

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Dairy Market News recently published the Dairy Organic report. Published bi-weekly, this report provides organic price information for dairy products from milk to cheese to yogurt and butter and highlights market trends. The report also includes highlights on organic milk sales for Federal Milk Orders and insights for U.S. and international markets.
AMS Highlights the EPA's Registration Review of Specific Pesticides
AMS announces that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is conducting a registration review of specific pesticides listed under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
As part of the registration review process, EPA has announced the availability of its draft human health and ecological risk assessments for the registration review of carfentrazone-ethyl, copper compounds, mineral acids, spinosad, and spinetoram, and opens a public comment period on these documents.
