The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP) is pleased to announce that the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is hosting a three part organic agriculture webinar series and that the Farm Service Agency (FSA) is hosting a webinar to share information about the county committee election process.
NRCS Organic Agriculture Webinar Series
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), in conjunction with Oregon Tilth, is hosting the first webinar in a three part series that discusses challenges and opportunities in managing tillage and plant residues on organic farms. The three-part series will feature different regions of the United States. The series will be kicked off by Lindsay Haines, National Organic and Pest Management Specialist, Ecological Sciences Division, NRCS.
 
The first webinar "Residue and Tillage Management in Organic Farming Systems: Eastern States," will take place:
