The National Organic Program (NOP) of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announces the publishing of a new issue of the Organic Integrity Quarterly newsletter and a new factsheet on the use of the USDA Organic Seal.

The National Organic Program (NOP) has posted the May 2016 Organic Integrity Newsletter. The issue features articles on NOP's Standards Division and its work to lay the foundation for organic agriculture, updates from the NOSB meeting, and the growth in certified organic operations. Also highlighted is the Organic Livestock and Poultry Practices proposed rule, and program updates on the National List, NOP Handbook updates, and new staff.
The National Organic Program (NOP) has posted a new fact sheet to its website. The document explains allowed uses for the USDA organic seal in media and on materials not intended for marketing organic products. It also provides examples of previously approved uses.
