The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP) is pleased to share an update to its Program Handbook.
NOP Handbook Update
The National Organic Program has published an updated Program Handbook Instruction, NOP 2027: Personnel Performance Evaluations.

NOP 2027 describes the procedures that accredited certifying agents should follow when conducting personnel performance evaluations. The revised procedure will allow accredited certifying agents to partner with other accredited certifying agents to conduct field evaluations of shared inspectors, which reduces the burden of annual field performance evaluations.
