The AMS National Organic Program has posted our February 2016 Organic Integrity Newsletter. This newsletter introduces AMS Acting Administrator Elanor Starmer, includes updates about our compliance and enforcement work, introduces new National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) members and NOP staff, and provides updates on special projects like the Sound and Sensible Initiative and the Organic Integrity Database.
The Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) is holding its annual farming conference this week, and NOP is there! If you are at MOSES, come and visit NOP Communications Specialist Sonya Wilson and Materials Specialist Jessica Walden in Booth 301.

This webinar will provide an overview of education and outreach materials created for the Sound and Sensible organic certification initiative. The session will summarize the goals of sound and sensible certification, provide an overview of the successful outcomes of 14 recent sound and sensible projects, and take a closer look at two of the projects and their outcomes.
By the end of the session, you will understand the goal of sound and sensible outreach, and will be able to easily access the outreach materials to use with your own audiences.
For those that attended the February 23 webinar, this session will contain similar introductory information, but will highlight different projects.
