Survey on the Use of Soil Amendments in Organic and Sustainable Agriculture
In a national effort to evaluate the needs and concerns of organic producers about the safe use of manure and compost in the production of organic produce, U.C. Davis, The Organic Center and Organic Trade Association are conducting a farmer-focused survey to characterize the use of manure and compost based soil amendments.

This survey relates to the ongoing implementation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

This survey is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative (OREI).
