The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP) has updated the National List Sunset Dates. We are also pleased to highlight the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service's (NASS) plans to conduct the 2015 Certified Organic Survey.
NOP Updates National List Sunset Dates
The National Organic Program has published an update to the Program Handbook. This updated document, NOP 5611: National List Sunset Dates replaces the August 27, 2015 version. Changes to the document reflect the removal of fortified cooking wine from the National List resulting from the 2015 sunset review process and the removal of two expired materials from the National List (streptomycin and tetracycline).
