The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is pleased to announce a webinar on the National Organic Program (NOP) Organic Integrity Database, and highlights a new fact sheet related to the development of an organic research and promotion program.

Webinar on NOP Organic Integrity Database: August 4, 2-3 p.m. Eastern

On Tuesday August 4, 2015, from 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern Time, the AMS NOP and Information Technology Service (ITS) will host an interactive webinar updating the organic community about the development of the Organic Integrity Database.

The webinar will include an overview of the capabilities planned for the first release of the database, planned for late September. We will review a proposed category and product taxonomy that will support increased data quality and structure, and the data that will be collected and reported by the new system.
