Environmental Benefits of Organic Systems Webinar Series
 

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is hosting a four-part webinar series exploring the environmental benefits of organic agriculture. The series is moderated by Betsy Rakola, Organic Policy Advisor, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, DC.

 

The second webinar entitled "Environmental Benefits of Organic Agriculture: Biodiversity" will be on Wednesday,  

June 17th at 2 p.m. EST. It will present scientific research examining the biodiversity benefits of organic farming practices in temperate and tropical farm systems. The speakers will be John Quinn, Assistant Professor of Biology, Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina.

 

Pre-registration is not required for this webinar session.
