The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is pleased to share the Spanish translation of the National Organic Program (NOP) Handbook, the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) meeting materials from the October 2014 NOSB meeting and information about an international organization of interest to the organic community.

The NOP is happy to provide the Spanish version of the USDA organic regulations and program handbook. The Spanish version will make it easier for Spanish speaking farmers, handlers and certifiers to understand and comply with the USDA organic regulations.
El NOP es feliz de presentar versiones en espa�ol de la USDA reglamento org�nico y Manual del Programa. Las versiones en espa�ol , ser� m�s f�cil para los de habla espa�ola agricultores , manipuladores y certificadores de entender y cumplir con el reglamento org�nico del USDA.

NOSB Fall Meeting Materials Published | |
We are pleased to announce that the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) recommendations and transcripts from the October 2014 meeting have been published electronically. Organic Trade in the Americas: The Inter-American Commission for Organic Agriculture | |
The Inter-American Commission for Organic Agriculture (ICOA) was founded to support organic agriculture in the Americas, especially Latin America, where there has been significant growth in production over past decade. The U.S. sources many organic products from Latin America and many Latin American countries want to strengthen ties with the United States through organics. ICOA, an international organization, aims to harmonize organic standards, strengthen control systems and support market development.
