The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is pleased to announce upcoming webinars of interest to the organic community. We are also sharing an updated Instruction recently sent to certifiers.

   
Reminder: December 9 Webinar on 
Organic Integrity Database

Reminder: On Tuesday December 9, 2014, from 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern Time, the AMS National Organic Program (NOP) and Information Technology Service (ITS) will host an interactive webinar about the development of the Organic Integrity Database.

 

We will open with a short presentation about the database development project, including its goals, current development priorities, and timeline. We will then invite feedback from the group about database priorities, and any additional requirements that are critical to the organic community and consumers.

Updated Instruction for Certifiers:

Annual List of Certified Operations

The NOP is preparing to update our list of certified operations for 2014. To begin this process, we recently sent an updated Instruction to certifiers for how to submit their annual lists to the NOP. Lists are due on January 2, 2015.
