USDA National Organic Program Recruiting Program Policy Advisor


The USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service is currently recruiting for a Program Policy Advisor to work in the National Organic Program (NOP).  The incumbent serves as a Program Policy Analyst within the NOP Standards Division and is responsible for formulating policy options, and developing and overseeing completion of written policy related to the implementation of the USDA organic regulations.  Position is based in Washington, DC and is at the GS-13 level.  The links below provide more information about the position and application instructions.

USDA National Organic Program Recruiting Policy Analysts


The USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service is currently recruiting two Policy Analysts to work in the National Organic Program (NOP).  The incumbents in these positions will serve as policy analysts working on a variety of policy issues of importance to organic agriculture.  Positions are based in Washington, D.C. and are at the GS 11/12 level.  The links below provide more information about the positions and application instructions.

USDA Blogs on Organic Interest Topics


Making organic certification accessible, attainable, and affordable involves collaboration with many partners across the country and around the globe. To advance this work, USDA supports a diverse community of organic stakeholders.  Two NOP programs were recently featured in blogs published on the USDA website

 

NOP's Sound and Sensible initiative involves awarding 13 contracts to a number of organizations in support of a range of projects that will help NOP continue to identify and remove barriers to certification and streamline the certification process.  Read more about these projects on the blog:
