As a reminder, the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) is continuing to accept public comments on its spring 2013 proposals. The deadline to submit written comments and to reserve an in-person oral comment slot is a week from today on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:59pm EST.

A small block of rooms has been set aside for the public. To get the Government per diem rate ($113.00 per night), call the hotel by March 22nd and ask for the USDA block.

The NOSB has published its proposals with a request for public comment in advance of the spring meeting.
*When the meeting was announced in the Federal Register, the NOSB subcommittee proposals weren't yet available.

The Fall 2013 meeting of the NOSB will be held in Louisville, Kentucky during the week of October 21, 2013.
The NOP will provide additional information in the coming months.
