If you have attended a Saints football game, you may have noticed a couple of JCJC students on the sidelines performing as part of the Saintsations dance team. Current JCJC student, Bailey Davis and recent JCJC graduate, Shelbie Suber are just two local ladies on the team. A Jingle Jazz Christmas
JC Voices and JC Jazz have teamed up with the Salvation Army's Angel Tree project to present, "A Jingle Jazz Christmas" on Thursday, December 3, in the Exhibition Hall of the JCJC Advanced Technology Park at 7 p.m. The admission price of the concert is a suggested donation of an unwrapped present for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree project. McNair-Pierce and Brown Art Show
The Eula Bass Lewis Art Gallery will be featuring the artwork of JCJC faculty artists, Paula McNair-Pierce and Mark Brown. JCJC 1982 alumna, McNair-Pierce's work is a bitadventurous depicting the beetle in various styles and forms.
Brown shows off his 3-D artwork or assemblages depicting some of his "Origins." The show will be on display through December 15.
Jones County Junior College's Concert Choir will be performing its annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 6, at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Laurel. JCJC choral director, Joel Dunlap will be leading the 102-member concert choir in John Rutter's "Gloria" and invites the public to this event, free of charge.
The JCJC Concert Choir's Christmas concert will also feature soloist, Lori Birrer Guy who is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the University of Southern Mississippi and is studying with Dr. Maryann Kyle. Guy will be the featured soloist on three musical pieces.
Assisting the choir as the group's accompanist is JCJC's fine arts faculty member and organist, Kay Guiles. For more information contact the JCJC Fine Arts Department at 601-477-4094.

The "North" defeated the "South" 2-1 Saturday afternoon in the MACJC Women's All-Star Soccer Game at Holmes Community College. Participating from Jones County Junior College for the South team were Ashton Rowell of Ellisville, Abby Taylor of Florence and Dallas McKinnon of Ellisville.
Abigail Morales of Northwest and Cara Harrison of Hinds each had goals in the match for the North, while Sarah Fortenberry of Pearl River had the only goal for the South. Madison Parham of Itawamba was named the North Division MVP on the women's side along with Lyndsey Lee of Pearl River.

In the men's MACJC All-Star Soccer Game at Holmes, the "South" downed the "North" 5-3 Saturday afternoon. Participating from Jones County Junior College for the South team were Moses Muhubao from Mobile, Dung Vu of Mobile and Nick Canner of Oak Grove.
In the men's match, Jacob Johnson of East Central had one goal, while Juan Flores of Holmes had two goals for the North. Jordan Parron, Gio Freitas and Juan Salazar of Mississippi Gulf Coast each had a goal and Chance Bourdene of Pearl River had two goals for the South. Juan Flores of Holmes was named the North MVP, while Chance Bourdene of Pearl River was the South MVP.
