Greetings Alumni and Friends!
We are excited that another school year has begun, and we kicked it all off with our annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony and game.
Those inducted this year were Linda Darty, Mike "Skeeter" Robertson, Kevin Jackson, Don Pennington, and Tommy D. Parker, Sr. An outstanding group indeed!
We have a lot of exciting things planned for this fall. Of course, homecoming will be on Saturday, October 10. As usual, we will have a day full of activities, concluding with the football game versus East Central. Come on out and cheer the Bobcats on to victory!
Speaking of Bobcats, the Alumni Association is teaming up with the SGA (Student Government Association) to raise money to place a life size bronze bobcat sculpture on campus. You can help out by making a contribution to the JCJC Alumni Association. The SGA is raising 50% and Alumni 50%. Get involved in this exciting project and show your school spirit.
For the first time ever, we are having an inshore fishing tournament to raise money for the JCJC Foundation. This first annual event, The JCJC Foundation Inshore Classic, will be held at Mary Walker Marina in Gautier, on Saturday, October 24th. Entry fee is $50 per person or $200 per boat, with a 4 person maximum. Corporate sponsorships are also available. Give us a call at 601-477-4145 to sign up.
We are working hard to reach out to ALL alumni this year. If you are a member of a civic club any where in our 8 county area, or beyond, and would like for me to speak to your group, just give me a call at 601-477-4145.
There has never been a more exciting time to get involved at JCJC. Our enrollment is strong, and the future is bright for Jones. If you have not renewed your membership, or joined the Alumni Association or Bobcat Club, do so now. It is never too late!

Until next time......Go Bobcats!!

 Remember When...

in 1914 when two military companies had been organized?  The Hubbard Guards and the AHS Riflemen were new student organizations.  The students furnished their uniforms and the school furnished their rifles.
