Greetings Alumni and Friends!
  Here's What's Happening at Jones

The Mississippi Lions All-Star Band were able to defend its 30-year championship streak to win the Lions 98th International Convention & Parade of Nations on June 27. The group practices at JCJC every June in preparation for this competition. Of the 145 members, 53 are from South Mississippi. They have earned 1st place 30-times since 1951 and have won more times than any other Lions Band competing. Many of these stellar musicians decide to attend JCJC after the annual "Band Camp."
Statewide publicity also influences parents and their children to Discover Jones!
