Preschool Staff Opportunity 
WHPP is seeking flexible, fun and creative preschool Lead and Assistant Teachers.   High School diploma or GED and an FBI background check are required.  Early Childhood Education and/or experience preferred.  Must be willing to attend at least 30 hours of paid annual training and be CPR and First Aid certified.  Salary commensurate with experience and education.  Contact Susan Bright.



The Gathering Assistant Director Staff Opportunity


WHPC is seeking an Assistant Director of The Gathering ministry which is a once a week respite program for people with Alzheimer's disease and similar dementias who are being cared for at home by family members.  The Gathering is a joyful and loving program involving music, art, food and fun and is held on Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. This is a part-time position, $15/hour, 10 hours a week.  Submit completed application to Debbie Wilder.



Elder/Deacon Recommendations

The Congregational Nominating Team is seeking your recommendations for Elders and Deacons to serve beginning Spring 2017.  Submit your recommendation here.  Paper forms are located in the Narthex and the WHPC Office.  The deadline for submittal is Sunday, August 21.

Handbells begin Wednesday, August 31 in the Sanctuary.

    Missionary Visit This Sunday

    Long-time WHPC missionary, Rob, will be with us this Sunday, August 14.  Rob will share his story, of serving with South Sudanese refugees in Egypt, at 9:30 a.m. in the Dearman class and at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.  Rob will also be available to meet/greet in the Welcome Center, just off the Sanctuary.

    Community Corps is an exciting new missional volunteer training program.
