Noon - 3 p.m.* in the Sanctuary
Every 20 minutes from noon until 3 p.m. there will be a hymn, scripture, meditation and prayer in observance of the hours of darkness as Jesus hung on the cross. Come worship and hear the words that Jesus spoke, led by our pastoral staff along with Kyle Bender, Kris Brown, Trey Haddon, Carolyn Helsel, Chris Knepp and Jim Vickery.
*Stay the entire time or come and go. Please enter and leave the sanctuary during the hymns.
Easter Day, March 27
6:30 a.m. - Sunrise Communion Service
8:15 a.m. - Traditional Communion Service
9:30 a.m. - Contemporary Communion Service
11:15 a.m. - Traditional Communion Service
- Sunrise service will be held outside, weather permitting. All other services in the sanctuary.
- No Sunday School for children or youth. Children are always welcome in worship. Childcare is available, for Pre-K and younger, at 9:30 and 11:15.
- Parking shuttle service will run 5:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. from The Overlook (6836 Bee Cave Rd) and the WHPC downhill parking lot on Barton Creek Blvd.

Session News
Actions at the regular Session meeting on March 22, 2016: - Received report on the Feb. 26-27 Mission Presbytery meeting at which the HIV/AIDS Global Overture presented by WHPC Elder David Barstow was approved towards submission to the PC(USA) General Assembly later this summer.
- Received the Treasurer's February Financial Report for the Church.
- Student Ministry briefing by Director Kyle Bender.
- Children's Ministry motion approved, with support from Worship and Student Ministries to amend the children's summer Sunday school schedule from June 5-August 28 at 9:30 a.m. In place of a typical Sunday school class, children will focus on three of our invitations: Worship, Go and Grow/Connect. Typical Sunday school classes will still be offered during the 11:00 hour from June 5-August 28. Parent supervised free play will be available in the gym from 10:30-11:00 a.m.
- Session had a good discussion about continuing to review the structure and work of Session and beginning conversation about the Sunday morning schedule, knowing that this has to be done with a lot of sensitivity and mutual discernment.
- Session will move their monthly evening meeting to the 4th Monday from the 4th Tuesday starting in May.
- Scheduled Ordination/Installation for Sunday, May 1, Deacons at 9:30 a.m. worship and Elders at 11:00 a.m. worship.
