News of the Family
Ann Laughlin (husband, Jim) died February 15. A service will be held on Friday, February 19, at 2 p.m. in the Sanctuary. A reception will follow in the Parlor.

Louise Vine died February 17. A service will be held on Saturday, February 20, at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary. A reception will follow in the Parlor.

Annual Congregational Meeting
Sunday, February 21, immediately following the 11 a.m. worship service // Sanctuary // The meeting will include reports from Mark Ramsey, the Board of Trustees and the Forward in Faith Task Force, as well as the election of officers for the Class of 2019. Elder nominees are Genia Blanchard, Christie Bybee, Betty Hewell, Vaughn Mankey and Ed Perry. Deacon nominees are Andrew Assir, Heather Bacon, Dave Gabriel, Cindy Gangstad, Chris Lingan, Todd Smith, Carol Swearingen and Shane Williams.
Noonday Lenten Organ Series
Wednesday, February 24, 12-12:30 p.m. // Sanctuary // Join us for personal reflection and meditation with rich devotional literature of the pipe organ on Wednesdays throughout Lent. The guest organist next week is Gregory Eaton from All Saints Episcopal Church in Austin. Lunch will be served in the Parlor following the program. // More info and a schedule here.

Easter Choir Kick-Off

GriefShare
Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. // Room 202 // This national program is designed to assist people in walking the journey of grief with support along the way. 2016 Vacation Bible School

Christian Sports Camps
WHPC is hosting two Triumph Camps this summer for boys and girls ages 5-12. Sports Camp will be July 5-8, 8:30-11:30 a.m., and Dodgeball Camp will be August 1-4, 1-4 p.m. Cost is $75 before June 1 and $85 after June 1. // More info and registration here.
WHPC Nicaragua Family Mission Trip
June 2-11 // Sports camp, women's seminars, Vacation Bible School, micro-loan program and much more! No special talent is required, just a willingness to serve and share Christ's love. All ages are welcome! // Applications are due by April 1

2016 Africa Mission Trip
June 18-July 2 // This trip to Lusaka, Zambia, will include building our partnership with the Lusaka South Congregation through a shared construction project at Westlake Hills Prayer House. No experience needed, we will "work" as we are able. We will also meet with our sponsored seminary students, work with community schools, make home visits and go on a three-day safari. // More info here or contact Susan Bright

Meal a Month Bags
Remember to bring back your blue Meal a Month bag with food and items for Manos de Cristo and drop them off in the Parlor or Children's Ministry Entrance. Requested items for February are: cereal, sugar, canned peas, canned carrots, mayonnaise, soup, Vienna sausages, dish soap, body soap. Optional item: $5 HEB gift card

IHN Toy Drive
WHPC will soon (March 13-20) be housing families in our lower classrooms as part of the InterFaith Hospitality Network homeless ministry. Toys are needed to entertain children during their stay. Requested items are: Legos, Duplo blocks, children's DVD's, building blocks, coloring books, washable crayons. Please drop toys off in Nancy Pickett's office now through March 13.
