Worship Services on January 24
The 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, January 24, will be held downstairs in the Gym to accommodate students participating in FOCUS weekend. The 8:15 a.m. service remains in the Chapel and the 11 a.m. service will be in the Sanctuary. A shuttle will run from the downhill parking lot to the Sanctuary from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Dinner on Wednesday Nights
Remember to make reservations if you or your family plan to eat dinner at the church on Wednesday evenings as part of Wednesday Night Life. The meals, catered by What's for Lunch Austin, will include an entree, side dish, salad/veggie and dessert. Registration and online payment is required and closes each week on Monday at noon. // More info and registration here.

Monthly Bridge Day

Stephen Ministry Spring Speaker Series
Monday, February 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m. // Room 200 // Stephen Ministry will be hosting four special speaker presentations this spring. The first speaker is Liz Gentry, a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional counselor. Liz will be drawing on her many years of experience to share principles that are key to building trust in relationships. Open to the community.

DivorceCare
Begins Tuesday, February 2, 6:30-8:30 p.m. // Lake Hills Church, 11431 Bee Caves Road // DivorceCare is a weekly support group and 13-week seminar led by facilitators who understand the pain of divorce and separation. // More info: Diane Pollard

1st Thursday Women's Lunch

Lenten Life Group Study
The Lenten Life Group Study has been written just for WHPC by Associate Pastor Stacy Ikard. It corresponds with the Lenten sermon series - Dead Ends, Detours and Destinations - and will give Life Groups the opportunity to further explore critical biblical "locations," or places people of faith find themselves returning to again and again. A special Lenten Life Group, led by Stacy Ikard, will meet on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 p.m., throughout Lent. Watch for details on how to register.

Thursday Afternoon Women's Bible Study
Begins Thursday, January 21, 1-2:30 p.m. // Dining Hall (new location) // Associate Pastor Stacy Ikard will lead a 10-week study entitled Sessions with Colossians & Philemon, On the Move with God by Eric Porterfield. Moms in Faith

Feed My Starving Children
The Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack Event held in the WHPC Gym on January 16 was an amazing success! More than 725 volunteers from WHPC and the community packed 163,296 specially-formulated meals to be shipped to countries around the world. Thank you to all the volunteers, donors and the FMSC team that worked for months preparing for the event!

The Gathering at Community First! Village
Sunday, January 31, 4:37 p.m. (correct time!) // Under the Village tent at 9301 Hog Eye Drive // Come for an evening of fellowship and dinner with volunteers and others interested in connecting with the heartbeat of what it looks like to create a life-giving spiritual growth model at Community First! Meals Ministry Team
Friday, February 5, 6-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 6, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. // WHPC Kitchen // Join us for our next cooking event as we prepare meals for care teams to deliver to people during times of need. Austin Samaritans Mission Trip
April 16-23 // Join us as we finish out a computer room, paint a mural and lead VBS at Christian schools in Managua, Nicaragua. Skills needed are enthusiasm and a love for serving others in the name of Jesus. // More info here.

WHPC Nicaragua Family Mission Trip
June 2-11 // Sports camp, women's seminars, Vacation Bible School, micro-loan program and much more! No special talent is required, just a willingness to serve and share the love of Jesus Christ.
