PASTOR'S CORNER

Becoming Creation Wise

The most important commitment you can make to your church and our spiritual development together is to attend all 4 of the Becoming Creation Wise events.

These classes will give us theological lenses through which we will see clearly our calling as a congregation to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us.

My hope is that those who are already attending our Sunday School class will have new insights into the themes they have been covering throughout the year.

My hope is that those who are not regularly attending our Sunday School will have the opportunity to see how valuable it is to grow and learn outside of the worship hour.

God has blessed us with Rev. Jihyun Oh to teach, help us discern God's call, and encourage us in our journey of faith.

Good stewardship means we take advantage of all of the gifts, and gifted people, entrusted to us to grow in faith and love of God.

In Christ,

George

VOTE FOR MEMORIAL DRIVE COMMUNITY PROG

This year, Target will give money to schools all over the country for one simple act: a vote. Our school needs just 25 votes to earn a $25 donation from Target. But that's only the beginning. For each additional vote, our school will get $1 more. So please remember that, although the gesture is small, the rewards are potentially huge. Go to GiveWith.Target.com to vote for Memorial Drive Community Prog once a week through September 21 or until Target has given away all $5 million. And please forward this email to your friends. Vote and see rules at GiveWith.Target.com.
