PASTOR'S CORNER

In Latin, CREDO can be translated to mean "I believe." But its deeper meaning is "I give my heart." At that deeper level, participation in a CREDO conference becomes a work of the mind, heart, and spirit.

I got invited to the CREDO conference for Presbyterian ministers. The biggest decision was Indiana or Louisiana and I thought the bugs would be bad in Louisiana so I chose Indiana - funny how we decide things. So in April of 2014 and 2015 for 8 days I will be at a retreat center to do some heart, mind, and spirit work. I am thankful to have 2 weeks each year for continuing education and thankful to have the opportunity to meet with fellow pastors across the United States. But mostly I am thankful not to have to go to a state where the mosquitos are as big as sparrows and you can actually see the no-see-ums!

Join Robin Grant and Kristal Holmes for a fitness boot camp on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Deshong Park located at 2859 North Deshong Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.

We ask that participants arrive 10-15 mins. early. We will meet at the first pavilion in the park. The cost is $10.00 in advance (payments can be made via PayPal at wondertwinsfit@gmail.com) or $15 the day of boot camp.

Please bring a towel, water, a mat and fitness gloves (if you have them).
