PASTOR'S CORNER
Scroll down a bit and give a listen. Chris Yaw's interview of Joe Phelps covers a lot of important concepts for church in these modern times. I would love to hear what you think about it. Please continue to keep us all in prayer as we live into our calling in the community.

But seek the Shalom of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its Shalom you will find your Shalom. Jeremiah 29:7
On June 8th churches from across Atlanta are coming together to support Shalom in its ministry to refugee children and families. They are coming because we stepped out in faith, shared what we had, and welcomed Shalom International Ministry with open arms. Our faithfulness has inspired others to join us in mission and ministry in Clarkston and Stone Mountain. May God continue to bless us with a spirit of risk-taking mission, extravagant generosity, and radical hospitality. I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, June 8th, for a day of celebration and service.
To Clarkston with Love on Saturday, June 8th, from 8am - 5pm.
We will be providing hospitality to our sister churches as they renovate the chapel, gym, gardens, and children's room. We need volunteers to show people around, prepare breakfast and lunch, help with clean-up at the end of the day, and help with the youth. There is something for everyone to do and we need all of the gifts of our congregation to celebrate this day!
