PASTOR'S  CORNER

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, 'Ask what I should give you.' And Solomon said, " ... Give your servant an understanding mind to govern your people, able to discern between good and evil; for who can govern this your great people?" It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this.

- 1 Kings 3:5-10

With the 24-7 election coverage we have all endured these past few months in mind, I think that we are all ready to welcome back commercials for ShamWow!

Pray for our leaders, Republican and Democrat that they will have an understanding mind to govern this great nation and the challenges we face. Pray for those suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, the recession, and war in Afghanistan. Pray for God's wisdom in your life because, when it is all said and done, we need God's guidance more than anything else.

 In Christ,

George
