New Website Launch!

The Pets of the Homeless website is seeing a complete redesign from top to bottom in an effort to help people find exactly what they're looking for more easily. But a cleaned-up design is only the start - the new website features new functionality to make getting or giving help much easier.

One very noticeable new feature is the "Search for Help Near You" - a homeless person with a pet in need can simply type in their location (or let the website detect it for them) and they'll be provided with a map of the food, shelter and veterinary resources around them. Each resource has information about the services provided, as well as location and contact information.

The website will also be responsive, meaning the design will respond to the screen you're seeing it on - making browsing on a tablet or mobile phone a breeze.

For those looking to support Pets of the Homeless, there are enhanced features for you, too. Use the search feature to enter your location and be provided with a map of the Donation Centers near you. If you notice there aren't any locations near you, you can get information about recruiting one for your community.

There are many ways to help, and now monetary donations can also be made directly and securely on our new website.

And, as always, we'll continue to provide you news, insights, and success stories of people and pets getting the support they need.

Watch for a new design in the newsletter as well!
"Give A Dog A Bone" Week
a HUGE SUCCESS!

The preliminary numbers are in for Pets of the Homeless Give A Dog a Bone week and an astounding 4.33 TONS of food was collected at a fair market value of over $15,500!!! Our Annual National Give a Dog a Bone week is one form of raising awareness of the YEAR ROUND need for pet food for pets owned by the homeless. Please continue to visit your local collection site and donate pet food. Our task, nationwide is to feed pets of the homeless who cannot otherwise provide for them.

Pets of the Homeless wishes to extend a tremendous THANK YOU to all of our generous donors who contributed pet food! A full tummy is a happy tummy!
