Pets of the Homeless - On the Radio!

Wellness Clinic in Carson City, NV

A Success!

POTH recently teamed up with volunteers, Dr. Michael Pulver of Timberline Animal Hospital, Dr. Gary Ailes of Sierra Veterinary Hospital, the Nevada Humane Society of Carson City and Jim Peckham of FISH, including their staff members and many other volunteers to hold a Wellness Clinic in Carson City. We examined, vaccinated and micro-chipped 34 dogs and 5 cats. Vaccinating pets helps keep our community disease free. Thank you to the volunteers and public donations for making this clinic possible.

Winston Harry Albert

Winston Harry Albert's homeless owner called and was concerned that he had a fractured tooth and was in pain. After POTH assisted with x-rays and an examination it was determined three teeth needed to be extracted, because he had a retained root of one of his baby teeth that had not fallen out! Winston's surgery was a success and he is feeling much better now thanks to POTH as well as FCIA Helps Pets in San Diego.
