Zanaida Robles M/97

Zanaida was selected to present research on Afro-British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor earlier this month at the national conference of the National Association of Negro Musicians in Los Angeles. In conjunction with this presentation, she also presented a concert featuring his works at the All Saints Church in Pasadena. Zanaida will complete her dissertation on Coleridge-Taylor this fall and graduate from USC with a DMA in choral music in the spring of 2015.

Congratulations!
Marjani Forte D/00

Congratulations to Marjani Forte who was recently awarded a Studio Series Residency with New York Live Arts and will be building a new work set to premiere for their 2016/2017 Season!

She's also currently building "being Here" which was previewed at Danspace Project last March 2013. She's partnered with her husband and composer Everett Saunders on the construction of a 3-D Audio experience that thickens the storytelling of the work. Recently awarded the New Music USA Grant, they head to the Kelly Strayhorn Theatre and Lafayette College in PA in August to try it on for the first time!
