This issue was dedicated to giving grateful recognition to those many community groups, organizations and individuals who selflessly support our county's public education system through donations, programs, manpower and other means. For these dedicated people, it's all about the students and helping our educators successfully perform their jobs.

Examples of those profiled include educational programs at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, Born Learning Trails supported by the United Way of Ventura County, and volunteers who help produce the county's Mock Trial, Science Fair and Acadamic Decathlon programs. These are just a small sampling of the thousands of individuals who help make learning fun and successful for Ventura County's students.
