The aubrush finish created from weaving various shades of similar colors creates a rug that works well with a multitude of fabrics. Did you know...
That the serpent/snake is one of the oldest and widespread mythological symbols. So since 2013 ushers in the year of the snake in the Chinese zodiac, we thought we would reveal a bit about what snakes mean in the rug world. The most common terms associated with its representation are knowledge, renewal and protection. The snake is also the protector of the tree-of-life which symbolizes eternity so they are often seen together in rug design.
