PLANETS AND POSSIBILITIES: A LOOK AT THE ASTROLOGY OF NOVEMBER

 As November 1 arrives, we may find that a sense of deja vu is overwhelming us since we are being asked to continue juggling the erratic energies generated by the Uranus (independence) square to Pluto (transformation). Even if we stay grounded, there may be bizarre developments to contend with in our extended environment. We know the drill - take deep breaths and escape to a quiet place for a few minutes of stillness whenever things seem to be closing in.
Two days hence (11/3) we have the New Moon Solar Eclipse (new pathways) in Scorpio (secrets). Making room in our conscious mind for what is calling to be healed, but has been repressed. The Sabian Symbol depicts "people attending an embassy party" and what we are able to learn about ourselves in relation to the groups with which we are involved. In recognizing where we commit our time socially, we can ponder how fulfilling our alliances may be. Read more ... THE MOON, OCCULTISM AND THE GODDESS ISIS

The Ancient Wisdom tells us that the moon used to be much nearer to earth than it is now, and was also larger than its now shrunken shell. Our moon is part of a previous chain of worlds connected to the earth's evolution. The moon is far older than the earth, and contrary to the beliefs of many modern astronomers, is the mother or parent of earth, not her child.
Ages ago, Laws of planetary evolution caused the moon to transfer its' life forces into the earth. The moon is now a dead body, occultly speaking. Its' inner life and higher principles are gone, and a decaying corpse is all that remains. Earth's moon will eventually disintegrate, like all physical forms.
