The Pain Relief Center

The Pain Relief Center is now an In-Network Provider for Aetna, POMCO, Independent Health, as well as Excellus and Most Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plans.

In an effort to further meet your needs, we now are accepting Aetna, POMCO, Independent Health, as well as Excellus and most BC/BS plans, with only the traditional co-pay/deductible on your part. The past few months have been a learning experience, but things are now moving along quite smoothly. Unfortunately, MVP Insurance will not be accepted at the Pain Relief Center.

Due to a great influx of new patients, we are temporarily closed to new patients. However, we have a waiting list for those who are interested in becoming a patient in the future. Just email us and we will place you on the list and contact you as soon as possible.

If you are a current patient and are covered by Aetna, POMCO, or Independent Health, please email us the following information:

Name
Date of birth
Address
Policy number, including all letters
Name of policy holder and date of birth (if different from you)

Many insurances require prior authorization for approval of physical therapy. If so we will require a bit more information form you, including a prescription from your doctor for physical therapy.

Please email us or call at 585-244-6180 for full details.

What's New
at the
Pain Relief Center?

Besides the move, we will be transitioning to an EMR (electronic medical records system) over the next few weeks. While this may change the feel of a session just a bit, this change will facilitate any communication that needs to be made with your doctor, insurance company, etc.

Log onto the website, www.RochesterPainRelief.com, email us, or call at 585-244-6180 for full information.

Regards,

What is a Myofascial Release Session Like?

I get this question quite frequently, so I recently had the opportunity to film a YouTube video  demonstrating just what a session might look like.

The Myofascial Resource Store

There are a number of self-treatment tools that aid in patient's rehabilitation. Some of these you have seen or even tried at my clinic. I've combined them all together in my virtual store, which is run by Amazon.com.

  My Blog

It seems like everyone has a blog these days and I did not want to be left behind! While intended for therapists across the country, you may find a few topics interesting.
