Pancake Breakfast on Saturday October 27th |
The Volente VFD Auxiliary will be hold its Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 27th from 8-11AM. Pancakes, sausage, Starbucks coffee, juice - all for only $4.00. Proceeds benefit the Volente fire department.

Free refreshments and tours
Sunday - October 28 - 2 until 5 pm - Annual Quilt Show and Craft Sale - at Anderson Mill, 13974 FM 2769 in Volente. Anderson Mill Garden Club maintains a replica of the Old Anderson's Mill which once used Cypress Creek for power of its grist mill, cotton mill and powder mill. Proceeds from the sale of crafts and stone ground cornmeal benefit the upkeep of the mill and property. Quilts are shown from members of the community - old and new quilts on display.
