Hey Everyone! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING TO OUR OPEN HOUSE!!!! It was a HUGE success and I'm already thinking of ways to make it better for next year! For everyone wanting something to do this weekend, y'all can start over seeding Fescue and Bluegrass. If you are wanting to over seed then come out, pick up your seed and Soil Mender Soil Mix, and start throwing out the seed. I over seeded my backyard recently and it will germinate in the next couple of weeks.
General rule of thumb when over seeding a pound of seed will cover about 300 sq ft. If it is bare ground then a pound to 100 sq ft. If you are doing your whole yard you might think about renting a machine called an overseeder. This machine plugs the seed in the ground for you. Rabern Rental carries them. Otherwise, throw the seed out by hand or with a spreader then cover up any bare spots with a little bit of soil. Make sure you keep the area watered so the seed can germinate.
