SEMINARS! If any of y'all have ever been to one of the seminars we hold in the spring, then you know how much information you can learn!  This week is about soil prep.  The people from Soil Mender will talk to you about all of their awesome products for getting those new flower beds and veggie gardens ready for spring.  You will also learn what to do to an existing bed that might need some rejuvenation. March 8 @ 10 am! No charge!

Next week Rhonda and I will delve into the world of Fairy Gardening!  This is a great concept to teach kiddos about plants!  It's even better for people that don't have a big yard or maybe can't work in the yard.  Come check it out as we talk about all of your options for creating your own! March 15 @ 10 am and no charge!  If you are interested in any of our seminars then let us know today and we will sign you up! Also, look below for a full list of our seminars.

Finally, I want to mention the Rewards Program!  We have a program to say thank you for being so supportive of Panhandle Greenhouses.  For every $20 you spend, you get $1 PG dollar back!  These PG dollars can be spent like cash in the store between Father's Day (June 15th) and Christmas!  Sign up today by e-mailing, calling, or visiting us!

See y'all at the seminar on Saturday!

Perennial of the Week
by Rhonda Cathey

Common Name: Tickseed

Botanical Name: Coreopsis

Sun Exposure: Sun

Cold Hardiness: Zone 4 or -30 degrees

Coreopsis is a great drought tolerant perennial.  It has yellow daisy like flowers that bloom all summer and loves the full sun.  Great in any flower bed and we have multiple varieties to choose from.  Some are short and great for borders, others are taller and better towards the back.

Patterson Water Systems

We are a new Amarillo business looking to
bring water conservation to the forefront in the Texas panhandle.  Our focus is in Rainwater Harvesting, but we are also able to install septic tanks and custom seamless rain gutters.  We would love to help you in any way or at any level with your project.  Call us with questions on how to install your own Rainwater Harvesting system or let us do it for you.  One of the most common problems that creeps up on Rainwater Harvesters is maintaining their systems, so ask us about our monthly maintenance plan.  We also build wood clad rain barrels to beautify the collection experience.   Each person's home and needs are different, allow us to design and build a system that will work for your needs and your landscape!
Our Grand Opening Offer! FREE! 6 months of Monthly Maintenance (Please let us know you read about this in the Panhandle Greenhouses Newsletter!)
