Talk about a heatwave...

So I was lucky enough to go out of town this weekend!  I went down to San Antonio to see some family and get away from the greenhouse for a day or two. The break was much needed!  Y'all gave us a run for our money this spring.  Thank you so much for an awesome spring and a special thank you to everyone that reads this silly e-mail every week!  Y'all are the reason we stay in business and we really appreciate it!

So it's a little hot outside... I'm sure your plants are baking just like mine are!  We have a couple of products to help your plants survive the heat.

Bush Doctor® Flowers Kiss®

"Flowers Kiss™ supplements micronutrients that are crucial in the early flowering phase of plant growth to enhance flower development and encourage a bountiful yield.  It helps to alleviate stress in the transitional period between vegetative growth and flowering. Isn't it great that your plants don't have to fight to survive?"

Bush Doctor® Boomerang® Comeback Formula

"Boomerang's™ microbial-based formula helps heal damaged root tissue while encouraging new root growth and vegetative growth. It contains solubilized organic nutrition that is immediately available for amazingly fast recovery of stressed plants. Even Mother Nature needs a little help sometimes. Bush Doctor® Boomerang™ is the "Comeback Formula" that gives your plants a fighting chance."

Thanks again for your business!

Cactus!

By Valerie Cathey

Desert Rose

Adenium obesum, also known as the desert rose, is native to the hot, arid lands of Africa.  These attractive, small trees have thick caudices (perfect for storing water), leathery dark green leaves, and large red and white flowers.  Their mature height can be about 9 feet tall.  Adeniums are capable of producing flowers all year long, with short rest periods between.  An alternative growing method, during winter's shorter days, is to withhold water.  This causes the plant to drop it's leaves and go dormant.  Always avoid extended temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  This popular houseplant grows best when given a warm or even hot, sunny window or patio, watered well when dry, and given an application of Osmocote time release fertilizer  a few times per year.  Unfortunately, adeniums are poisonous.  Every part of the plant is

poisonous and best not to have around pets or young children.
