Seminar this Thursday at 6pm!  Rain Water Harvesting!

We are OPEN THIS SUNDAY!!!! From 12-3

We got two shrub trucks this morning so we have lots to choose from!
This actually feels like April!

Hey guys!

My aunt and uncle moved up here from San Antonio this past fall and yesterday she came in to say hi and was just ranting about the fact that it is this cold in April.  I started laughing and reminded her that our last average freeze isn't until April 20!!! Plus, I told her not to complain about the weather because we need every drop of moisture we can get.

That being said, this weekend is going to be some awesome weather!  So if you are needing anything for your yard or house then come see us!  Don't forget you can buy all the annuals you want and they will be fine unless it freezes.  Shrubs and perennials are fine to plant outside now and we have a huge selection of both!!

If you have not signed up for a lawn care program (you know who you are) then this weekend is the perfect time to come out and do it!

See y'all this weekend!

Ornamental Corn
Zea mays

Mid May is ideal for planting corn in the Texas Panhandle. Earth Tones and Strawberry  Popcorn are available in seed packets here at PHG. To prevent missed kernels it is best to plant several short rows rather the one or two long rows. When several rows are planted together this helps with  cross-pollination. Bulk seeds for your garden are also available and we will take a closer look at corn next week.
