The Open House was a HUGE Success!!!

Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much for making this weekend such a huge success!  It went much better then last year and we are already thinking about things to change for the next one!

Also,  HAPPY EASTER to everyone this weekend.  The weather looks promising!  I was talking to my parents about Easter because my husband Chase has to cater a dinner and we decided if the weather is going to really be in the 70's we were going to pick up KFC and enjoy our last Sunday off down at Tanglewood on the boat.  I'm pretty sure that sounds a lot better then cooking a fancy dinner... Just saying.

For those of you having the family over next weekend you should take advantage of some GORGEOUS Petunia hanging baskets that we have!  These will give you great color! We also have tons of other hanging baskets that are looking great some come check it out!

Have  great week!

Rewards Program

This time of year is always my favorite.  Spring is on the way and everyone is getting into full swing in their yards.  I wanted to remind all of y'all of a great way to earn some extra money from all of the money you spend on your yard this spring!  We have the PG Rewards Program.  This program allows you to earn $1 PG Dollar for every $20 you spend in the store.  The PG Dollars can be spent from Father's Day (Mid June) until Christmas every year.  So... it is free money as long as you are signed up for our Rewards Program!  It is free to join.  All you have to do is tell us you want to sign up for the program when you check out!  For those of you that are already signed up, don't forget your PG Dollars never expire!  Last year customers accumulated $22,000 in reward points and only $11,000 were spent!! So if you forgot to spend them last year, you can still spend them this year!  All of that being said... HAPPY GARDENING!  Can't wait to see y'all at the greenhouse this spring!

Thanks!

Flower Seed of the Week

Save the Bees

Seeds are wonderful. They bring food to our tables and flowers to our gardens. Many plants depend upon bees for pollination,  with the recent problem with colony collapse
bee populations are in decline. On one of the seed packets called 'Save the Bees' here at PGH it says over 4,000 species of bees live in the U.S. The $4.99 seeds packet is enough to cover 225 sq.ft. and contains annuals, biennials and perennials. Some of the seeds are well known herbs and others are little known wildflowers. This spring try planting a 'Save the Bees' seed packet and see how many species of bees come to your garden. "BEE" sure and let us know the number this fall so we can put it in the newsletter.
