Fertilome Weed Free Zone

It is now time to kill those unwanted weeds like henbit (the purple flower), dandelion and other broadleaf weeds.  This is a fantastic product that works and won't hurt any type of lawn grass. For best results remember to mix Spreader Sticker with you WFZ. Don't waste your time and money on any other product because this is the only one that will work in 30 and 40 degree nights.  Do it right the first time with Weed Free Zone.

Come out and see us!

Rewards Program

Hey Guys!  I hope everyone has enjoyed the time change.  I know I have.  I am writing this from my backyard at 7:30 in the evening and it is still light outside!  Heck Yes!

This time of year is always my favorite.  Spring is on the way and everyone is getting into full swing in their yards.  I wanted to remind all of y'all of a great way to earn some extra money from all of the money you spend on your yard this spring!  We have the PG Rewards Program.  This program allows you to earn $1 PG Dollar for every $20 you spend in the store.  The PG Dollars can be spent from Father's Day (Mid June) until Christmas every year.  So... it is free money as long as you are signed up for our Rewards Program!  It is free to join.  All you have to do is tell us you want to sign up for the program when you check out!  For those of you that are already signed up, don't forget your PG Dollars never expire!  So if you forgot to spend them last year, you can still spend them this year!  All of that being said... HAPPY GARDENING!  Can't wait to see y'all at the greenhouse this spring!

Thanks!

Flower Seed of the Week

By Judy Jones

Gaillardia grandiflora

Seeds are a great inexpensive way to add plants to your garden especially when it comes to perennials that return each year.  Several species of Gaillardia grace the Texas Panhandle. This hardy perennial is sold here at PGH under the name of  'Goblin'. On February the 28 ,  I planted a package in a seed starter tray inside and today is March 5 and several of the seeds have already sprouted ! When the plants get their true leaves on then I will put them in a little larger pot and come mid May they will be ready for garden outside. Gaillardias are sun loving plants and even in the dog days of summer they will look their best.
