Harambee's first 8th grade class graduates in style
Last month, we celebrated the graduation of our first ever 8th grade class at Harambee Christian School. While we are thrilled for our students' success, it was also a bittersweet night, as many of these students have been with us since Kindergarten!

Congrats T.J. and Darius!

We are encouraged by the strides each of these students have made academically, personally, and spiritually over the past 8 years and are excited to see God's plan continue to unfold in their lives as they enter high school. We look forward to supporting them through Bible studies and personal mentoring, so that they might become servant leaders in their community.
Our students are proud to represent Centennial, Eastmoor, and Worthington Christian high schools in 2013-2014.

We are grateful for all who have given to our students, personally, financially, and spiritually. Success is a team effort, and many of you have worked along side us to help our students get to where they are at today.
The staff and students of Urban Concern give you our deepest thanks!

Harambee's new Middle School Director
With Harambee's Principal, Alex Steinman, adding the role of Executive Director, we are excited to announce that veteran teacher, Michael Harvin, will be stepping up to take on the role of Middle School Director at Harambee Christian School, starting this upcoming school year.

If you know any middle school student from Harambee, you likely know about Michael Harvin's loving and dedicated influence on their lives and character. We are excited to see this influence increase as he takes on his new role.
Michael is entering his tenth year of teaching and service at Harambee. In order to play this important role, he will be scaling back his teaching duties. He will continue to teach middle school Mathematics.
Please join us in welcoming Michael!

All the students want to be like Mike.
