Alex Steinman raised up as
 Effective July 1st, Alex Steinman will assume the role of Executive Director at Urban Concern, in addition to serving as Principal of Harambee Christian School.
After growing up in Upper Arlington and attending The Ohio State University, Alex relocated to South Linden in 1994 to participate in the community development efforts of Urban Concern as a volunteer mentor.
After three years of private teaching experience and substantial field research, Alex helped to found Harambee Christian School in 1998. He served as both teacher and administrator at Harambee until 2006, when he took on fulltime administrative responsibilities at Urban Concern as Principal and Education Director.
In addition to his administrative role, Alex led a successful capital campaign for Urban Concern's Harambee Community Center on Bonham Avenue.

Alex earned a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University. He is a husband and father of three Harambee students.
Former Executive Director, Dave Glover, will continue to provide valuable oversight in his role as Missions Division Coordinator at Xenos Christian Fellowship.
